


Police recovered the body of a 17-year-old boy from a banana plantation in Manoharpur Pukurpara, under Maligachha Union of Pabna Sadar Upazila, on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Hasibur Sardar, son of Zahir Sardar (also known as Zahir Gharami), a resident of the area.
Local residents spotted the body face-down in a fenced banana orchard belonging to one Ajmal Peshkar and alerted the authorities. Police arrived at the scene around 10:00 AM, recovered the body, and sent it to the Pabna General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
At the time of recovery, Hasibur was wearing a jacket, pants, and a red cap. Sub-Inspector Al Amin of Pabna Sadar Police Station stated, "No visible injury marks were found on the body. We are currently unable to confirm the exact cause of death. An investigation is underway."
According to the victim's family, Hasibur had been missing since Friday afternoon. His relatives believe he was murdered by his acquaintances in a premeditated act. They have demanded a thorough investigation and justice for the teenager.
Legal proceedings regarding the incident are currently being processed at the Pabna Sadar Police Station.
