On Friday (December 19), after Friday prayers, the procession started from the Andarkilla Shahi Mosque area in Chattogram city and circled various roads before ending at Jamalkhan intersection.

The participants of the procession took to the streets carrying the symbolic red and green flags of Bangladesh made in the shape of coffins. At that time, they raised various slogans including 'We want the execution of Hadi's killers', 'Sharif Osman Hadi's blood will not be wasted', 'We want justice for the murderers', 'Who am I, who are you—Hadi, Hadi', 'Delhi or Dhaka—Dhaka, Dhaka', 'We will all be Hadi, we will fight with our hearts'.

At the end of the procession, a short rally was held at Jamalkhan intersection. The speakers at the rally said that a brave voice of the anti-Indian hegemony movement, Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, was killed in a planned manner. Osman Hadi's killers must be arrested and given exemplary punishment.

The speakers also said that Sharif Osman Hadi was not just an organizer, he was the voice of the masses and a brave representative of the oppressed people. Those who killed him by carrying out a planned and cowardly attack on him must be arrested immediately and given exemplary punishment.
