Victory Day was celebrated with due dignity in Paikgachha of Khulna. On this occasion, the upazila administration has organized various programs for three days.

On Tuesday morning, December 16, wreaths were laid at the memorial by the Upazila Administration, Upazila Parishad, Muktijoddha Sangsad, Paikgachha Municipality, Paikgachha Thana, Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute Lonapani Center, BNP and its affiliated organizations, Paikgachha Government College, Upazila Health Complex, Fasiar Rahman Women's College, Bangladesh Open University Regional Center, Lawyers' Association, Paikgachha Press Club, Shibsa Literary Angan and Social Welfare Organization, Sholaana Business Cooperative Association, Banani Sangha, Contractor Welfare Association, Model Government Primary School, Shaheed Gafur Government Primary School, Rosebud Kindergarten School, Universal Edus School, Barnamala Kindergarten School.

The Rising Pre-Cadet School, Kankada Business Cooperative Association, Rupa Musical Academy, and various educational institutions, social, cultural and political organizations. Then at 8:30 am, a march past and parade were held at the Government High School football field. Police, Ansar, Scouts and students of various educational institutions displayed parades and displays at the event. At 10 am, a three-day victory fair was inaugurated at the Upazila Parishad premises.

At 11 am, family members of freedom fighters and martyred freedom fighters were felicitated. At 4 pm, a women's sports program was held at the Government Girls High School field and a friendly football game was played between the Upazila administration and the Municipality administration at the Government High School football field. In the evening, cultural programs, poetry recitation, writing and painting competitions were held at the Upazila Parishad premises. Fazle Rabbi, Officer-in-Charge Golam Kibria, Khulna District BNP Acting Member Secretary and BNP nominated candidate for Khulna-6 constituency Monirul Hasan Bappi, former freedom fighter commander Ruhul Amin Gazi, Government College Principal Professor Samaresh Roy, OC Investigation Idrisur Rahman, Headmaster Abdul Wahab, Debashish Sardar, Junior Consultant Dr. Sujan Kumar Sarkar, Upazila BNP Convener Dr. Abdul Majid, Upazila BNP Former General Secretary SM Enamul Haque, Municipality BNP President Aslam Parvez, Upazila BNP Member Secretary SM Imdadul Haque, Municipality BNP General Secretary Kamal Ahmed Selim Newaz, Jamaat leader Lecturer Abdul Momin Sana, Bar Association President Advocate GM Abdus Sattar and officials from various government departments, Freedom fighters, media workers, leaders of various levels of political, social and cultural organizations.

The day-long program was hosted by SFDF officer GM Zakaria and lecturer Lutfa Islam. Disaster protection dam being renovated at a cost of 1 crore 28 lakh taka in Garikhali, Paikgachha; Locals relieved.
