Free blood grouping and sports have been organized in Lakshmipur on the occasion of Victory Day. The day-long event was organized by the Mollarpole Development Activities Forum of Sadar Upazila on Tuesday (December 16).

In the afternoon, an anti-drug awareness discussion meeting was held. Later, the winners of various competitions, good people, imams and teachers were awarded.

Nazrul Islam, Chairman of Uttar Hamchadi Union Parishad No. 1 of Sadar Upazila, Manjarul Kabir, Ameer of Jamaat No. 7 of Bamni Union of Raipur, and former Chhatra Dal leader M.A. Momin were present as guests at the event.

Also present were Raju Hossain, director of Mollarpol Development Activities Forum, entrepreneur Riaz Uddin Molla, members Abdul Matin Molla, Farad Molla, Rakib Molla, Manik Khalifa, Arif Hossain Muzaffar, Sumon Rana, Sumon Hossain, Rajan Molla and many others.

The speakers said that drugs destroy individuals, families and societies. Therefore, to prevent it, it is important to raise family awareness, social prevention and involve young people in sports and cultural activities. In addition, alternative employment should be encouraged. If necessary, provide capital support.

He also said that the independence achieved through the great Liberation War is the greatest achievement of our nation. This achievement will motivate the nation to move forward in the future.
