


The Anjuman-e-Rahmania Ahmadiyya Sunnia Trust will organize its 55th Jashne Julus, a traditional procession to mark Eid-e-Miladunnabi (d., the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birth. Organizers expect a massive turnout as in previous years.
Trust Secretary General Muhammad Anwar Hossain shared the details at a press conference held Monday afternoon at a restaurant in Chattogram city.
He announced that the largest procession will take place in Dhaka on Sunday, August 23 and in Chattogram on Wednesday, August 26. This year's Chattogram procession will be led by Pir Allama Syed Muhammad Sabir Shah, Sajjadanshin of Sirikot with Syed Muhammad Qasim Shah and Syed Muhammad Aqib Shah attending as guests.
Alhaj Manzoor Alam, Senior Vice President of the Trust delivered the welcome speech. He described the event as the world's largest Milad procession also calling it an integral part of Chattogram's history and tradition that must be preserved in line with its Sharia-compliant roots. He urged police and volunteers to maintain discipline and follow the Trust's safety guidelines throughout the event.
According to organizers the procession will begin at 8 am on August 26 from Alamgir Khanka near Sholashar Jamia Ahmadiyya Sunnia Kamil Madrasa. It will pass through key intersections of the city before concluding at Jamia Field where a Mahfil (religious gathering) Zohr prayers and special prayers for the nation's prosperity will be held.
Preparations are already visible across the city, with decorated arches, banners and festoons put up at major intersections. National and Anjuman flags line the road dividers and islands. To accommodate the large crowd and more than a hundred temporary toilets have been set up in and around the madrasa.
Several senior Trust officials also attended the press conference, Additional Secretary Mohammad Shamsuddin, Assistant Secretary SM Gias Uddin Saker, Finance Secretary Kamruddin Sabur, Press and Publication Secretary Golam Mohiuddin, Cabinet Member Mohammad Hossain Khokon and others including Pair Mohammad Commissioner, Mahmud Newaz, Shahzad Ibne Didar, Spokesperson Mosaheb Uddin Bakhtiar, Abdul Hai Masum, Anwarul Haque, Professor Dr. Kamal Uddin and Media Desk members Abu Taleb Belal and Abu Naser Mohammad Tayyab Ali.
The Jashne Julus has grown into one of Chattogram's most significant religious and cultural events with drawing devotees from across the region each year. Organizers say this year's arrangements reflect their continued commitment to honoring tradition while ensuring public safety and order throughout the day-long celebration.
