


Bangladesh and Thailand have renewed their commitment to strengthening their long-standing bilateral relations. On Friday morning Bangladesh Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir met with Thai Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijavat Isarabhakdi at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the two leaders focused on deepening cooperation across multiple sectors. According to a statement from Bangladesh's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussions highlighted the importance of high-level exchanges, boosting trade and investment, and enhancing connectivity between the two nations. The officials also emphasized strengthening people-to-people ties and collaborating more closely on regional and global partnerships.
Both sides agreed on the necessity of fully utilizing existing bilateral mechanisms while actively exploring new avenues of cooperation to elevate Bangladesh-Thailand relations. Bangladesh's ambassador to Thailand was also in attendance to support the dialogue.
