During the talks, the Bangladesh Speaker praised Ghalibaf's constructive role in implementing the recent US-Iran peace agreement (the Islamabad Memorandum). He expressed optimism that the landmark accord would usher in lasting stability and prosperity for Iran and the broader Middle East, reaffirming Bangladesh's commitment to resolving global conflicts through diplomatic dialogue.
Earlier on Thursday, Speaker Hafizuddin arrived in Tehran and was received at the airport by Hamid Reza Haji Babai, Deputy Speaker of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly.
