BNP Rally in Paikgachha Emphasizes Communal Harmony and Election Readiness

BNP leaders have reaffirmed the party's commitment to building a "future Bangladesh" based on equality and religious harmony. Addressing a large gathering at the Paikgachha Government College ground on Tuesday afternoon, speakers emphasized that the political philosophy of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is rooted in ensuring equal rights for all citizens, regardless of faith or caste.

The event, titled the "Traditional Rally," was organized by the Hindu Buddhist Christian Welfare Unity Front of Paikgachha Upazila. Jayanta Kumar Kundu, BNP's Khulna Divisional Co-Organizing Secretary and the event's chief guest, stated that the significant attendance of the Hindu community reflects the party's inclusive stance. He criticized the previous administration for failing to protect minority interests and noted that, under the chairman's direction, the party has worked to prevent communal unrest.

SM Monirul Hasan Bappi, the BNP-nominated candidate for Khulna-6 (Koyra-Paikgachha), described the rally as a "historic example" of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood. He urged supporters to remain united and mobilized for the upcoming February 12 national election. Bappi pledged to transform the region into a modern, livable area if elected, calling on voters to cast their ballots early on election day.

The meeting was chaired by Lecturer Sujit Kumar Mondal and attended by various district and upazila-level BNP leaders, as well as representatives from the Sanatan (Hindu) community. Speakers collectively appealed for a peaceful election environment and urged the public to support the 'Sheaf of Paddy' symbol to ensure a transition toward democratic governance.
