As Bangladesh accelerates its infrastructure development demand for locally produced, high-quality steel materials is rising. Gram Bangla Tubes Ltd (GBTL) is stepping up to meet this demand operating one of the most extensive steel pipe production facilities in the country.

GBTL manufactures a wide spectrum of steel pipes required for modern construction and utility networks. Its production line includes Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) pipes, Galvanized Iron (GI) and Galvanized Pipes (GP), Spiral Submerged Arc Welded (SSAW) pipes and Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) pipes.

By offering products ranging from small-diameter plumbing sections to large-diameter pipelines for water transmission and gas distribution the company provides a centralized source for the country's diverse infrastructure needs.

Over the years, GBTL has supplied materials to several of Bangladesh’s key national projects. Its products are manufactured to meet the rigorous safety and durability standards required for critical applications in construction, water supply, drainage and structural engineering.

"Our mission has always been to help build the infrastructure of this country with products that are made here to the highest standards," a spokesperson for GBTL said. "Whether a project involves a bridge, a metro line, a water network or an industrial facility,we have the materials to support it."

By producing industrial-grade steel pipes domestically, GBTL plays a crucial role in reducing Bangladesh’s reliance on imported construction materials. This domestic capacity strengthens the local supply chain, ensuring that government agencies, developers and contractors have uninterrupted access to essential materials.

Moving forward, the company plans to expand its production capacity of partnering with both public and private stakeholders to support the next generation of Bangladesh's infrastructure development.
