Farewell Reception Given to UNO M.A. Muhaimin Al Jihan by Education Family in Monohardi

A farewell reception was organized by the Monohardi Upazila Education Family on Sunday to bid farewell to M.A. Muhaimin Al Jihan, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Monohardi Upazila in Narsingdi on his transfer.

The event was held at 4 PM on August 2 at the Monohardi Upazila Hall Room. Heads of various government and non-government educational institutions, teachers and officials of the education department from across the upazila attended the program. Speakers recalled the outgoing UNO’s efficiency, honesty and contributions to the education sector.

Teachers said that during his tenure, M.A. Muhaimin Al Jihan always stood by the education family. He played a sincere role in ensuring a safe working environment for teachers. His contributions to maintaining a cheating-free environment in various public examinations with establishing discipline in educational institutions and eliminating discrimination were highly praiseworthy. Speakers also mentioned that he provided necessary advice and support to teachers during various problems and crises.

They further said that his departure is painful for the education family as he is a skilled and humane administrative officer. They wished him success with good health and a long life in his future career, and requested him to forgive any unintentional mistakes made by them.

In his speech as the chief guest, UNO M.A. Muhaimin Al Jihan said, _“I had to be strict at times while performing my professional duties. But that was never for personal reasons, rather it was to fulfill responsibilities properly and protect public interest.” He expressed sincere gratitude to everyone for their love with cooperation and respect.

Also present at the event were Md. Tajul Islam Badol, Vice President of Monohardi Press Club, and journalist Mohaiamin Shuvo, along with journalists from various print and electronic media.
