A press conference was conducted to discuss the preparations for the 185th reunion of Faridpur District School. This event took place on Friday at 11:30 am in the Advocate Shamsuddin Molla Auditorium at the Faridpur Press Club, focusing on the preparations for the 185th reunion.

Dr. Mustafizur Rahman Shamim, who is the convener of the reunion organizing council, presided over the written statement presented by Dr. Mirza Arifur Rahman, a former student of Faridpur District School. During the event, Wahid Mia Kuti, the member secretary of the Faridpur District School Reunion Organizing Council and also a former student, along with former student and journalist Rajib Khan, shared various details with the attending journalists.

The gathering included former students such as Mehedi Hasan Chandan, Sajib Hasan Khan, President of the Faridpur Press Club Kabirul Islam Siddiqui, General Secretary Mahbub Hossain Piyal, and journalists from various print and electronic media outlets.

The organizers announced, Faridpur Zilla School was founded in 1840. This esteemed institution has reached the milestone of 185 years. To honor this rich history and celebrate its 185th anniversary, we, the alumni, have taken the initiative to organize a vibrant reunion event. A celebration council has been established to effectively carry out the program.

In this regard, the Faridpur Zilla School reunion festival is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, December 25 and 26, 2025 (10 and 11 Paush, 1432). The detailed itinerary for the two-day event is included in the announcement. Additionally, we request all possible support from journalists to promote this significant event across all national and local media.
