


A day-long “Startup, Science Project, and Innovation Idea Showcase” was held at the Monohardi Upazila Parishad auditorium on Friday. Under the central slogan, “A country of talent, science, and innovation: Bangladesh first,” the exhibition aimed to inspire research-driven thinking and creativity among school students.
Honorable Health Minister Sardar Sakhawat Hossain Bakul attended the event as the chief guest, emphasizing that science and technological literacy are the core drivers of global development. "To keep our nation moving forward, we must transform our students into a skilled, tech-focused workforce," the Minister said, encouraging the young participants to remain committed to research.
Monohardi Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) MA Muhaimin Al Jihan chaired the program, which drew a large crowd of students, teachers, parents and local residents.
Students from various schools across the upazila displayed innovative models, digital research projects, and prospective startup business ideas. The showcased projects focused largely on technology-based solutions and practical problem-solving, receiving widespread praise from visiting dignitaries.
The event featured a strong lineup of local administrative and political representatives, including Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Sajib Mia, Police OC (Investigation) Mahtabur Rahman, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Faruk Ahmed, Academic Supervisor Jalil Mia, Municipal BNP President Babul Mollah and Municipal BNP Member Secretary Advocate A. Hannan.
