On Tuesday, Rangpur Divisional Prison Deputy Inspector General Md. Kamal Hossain officially inaugurated the health checkup and awareness program organized by Nilphamari District Prison on the occasion of Guarding Staff Welfare Month October.
Among others, Jail Super Md. Rafiqul Islam, Assistant Surgeon Dr. Md. Sarwar Hossain, SDE of Public Works Department Palash Kumar Roy and many others were present. The Civil Surgeon's Office supported this program throughout the day.
Earlier, the prison held a prisoner court, inspected the entire prison interior, staff court and prison outer courtyard. Later, the Jail Super, Assistant Surgeon, Jailer, Public Works Department representative, Deputy Jailer, Medical Sub-ordinate held a discussion meeting on the overall issues of the prison and Rangpur Divisional Prison Deputy Inspector General Md. Kamal Hossain expressed satisfaction.
