Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Workers’ Welfare Federation held a rally and gathering in Morelganj, Bagerhat, on Friday to mark International Workers’ Day.

The event, themed "Implementing Islamic labor principles to establish workers' rights," began with a colorful procession at 9:00 AM from Government SM College. The rally paraded through major town roads before concluding with a discussion at the Nabbirashi bus stand.

"Workers are the backbone of our economy and national development," Alim stated. "We must ensure they receive their just wages before their sweat dries. Other notable speakers included Upazila Jamaat Ameer Maulana Shahadat Hossain, Nayeb Ameer Master Moniruzzaman, and Municipal Workers’ Welfare Federation President Master Rezaul Karim.
