In a separate local event, a human chain and tree plantation program were held at the Cox's Bazar Sadar Upazila Parishad premises to combat child marriage, gender-based violence and climate change.

Organized by World Vision Bangladesh's 'Child Safety Net Project,' the initiative drew over a hundred teenagers from local Child and Youth Forums. Subrata Biswas, Deputy Director of the District Women's Affairs Department inaugurated the event emphasizing that child marriage severely hinders youth development and human dignity.

Following the awareness campaign participants pledged to build social resistance against domestic abuse and planted fruit and medicinal saplings to promote environmental sustainability.
