Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami organized an Iftar Mahfil in honor of local dignitaries and political leaders at the Katipur Kalinagar High School ground on Sunday.

The event was presided over by Upazila Ameer Maulana Sagar Ali. Advocate Asam Sayem, Central Shura member and Secretary of Naogaon District Jamaat, attended as the chief guest.

Special guests included Nasir Uddin, Assistant Secretary of District Jamaat and President of the Workers' Welfare Federation, and Principal Mahbubul Alam, a member of the working council.

The program, moderated by Upazila Jamaat Secretary Shariful Islam, saw participation from across the political spectrum. Notable attendees included Upazila BNP Vice President Shahajamal Shah Chowdhury, Upazila Islamic Movement leader Maulana Abdul Haque Shah, and NCP District Organizing Secretary Golam Mustafa. Local Jamaat leaders, including Nayeb Amir Alauddin and former Amir Abdus Salam, were also present alongside various community dignitaries.
