A human chain has been formed in Bhola to protest the proposal to reserve 33% quota for BSC engineers with 10th grade equivalent to the post of sub-assistant engineer. The hour-long human chain and protest procession was organized by the District Diploma Engineering Students-Teachers Professionals Sangram Parishad in front of the Bhola Press Club at 11 am on Sunday.
The speakers in the human chain said that they demanded effective measures to cancel the 33% quota reservation they demanded as soon as possible. Otherwise, the speakers warned that they would go for a tougher movement.
Bhola District IDB President Helal Uddin, General Secretary Humayun Kabir, Mohiuddin, Shiuli Akhter, student representative Yasin Arafat and others were present at the time.
