Human chain in protest against proposal to reserve quota for BSC engineers in the post of deputy assistant engineer in Pabna

The Bangladesh Diploma Engineering Students, Teachers, Professionals Sangram Parishad, Pabna District Branch, has formed a human chain in protest against the proposal to reserve 33% quota for BSC engineers in the post of 10th grade deputy assistant engineer in Pabna.

The hour-long human chain was held in front of the Pabna Press Club on Abdul Hamid Road in the city at 11:30 am on Sunday (February 01, 26).

Engineer Rakibul Islam, Engineer Mohsin Ali, Aftan Sultana, SM Masudur Rahman, Prince Islam Bappi, Mir Mohammad Abu Zafar, Moniruzzaman, Alamin and many others spoke at the human chain.

During their speech, the leaders of the Diploma Engineering Students, Teachers, and Professionals Council warned that no malpractices will be accepted to reserve quotas or allow entry to higher degree holders in engineering for the 10th grade Sub-Assistant Engineer/equivalent posts.
