RAB raid in Bheramara, drug dealer arrested with huge quantity of ganja from bus

Kushtia RAB-12 conducted a raid and arrested a drug dealer with 3 kg 700 grams of ganja. According to RAB-12 sources, based on secret information, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 10 pm, a smart operation team led by Additional Superintendent of Police Sudipta Sarkar, PPM, Company Commander of Kushtia Camp, conducted an anti-drug check post on Bheramara Bus Stand Road.

A bus named Fatema Special, which was going from Pragpur to Dhaka, was searched and 3 kg 700 grams of ganja was recovered from the passenger Sajbur Hossain (42) on the bus. The estimated market value of the recovered ganja is about 1 lakh 11 thousand taka.

The arrested Sajbur Hossain is a resident of Mahishkundi Mathpara area of ​​Pragpur Union under Daulatpur Police Station of Kushtia district.
