Prayer mahfil for the repose of Khaleda Zia's soul in Porsha

A prayer mahfil was held in Porsha, Naogaon, for the repose of the soul of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

The prayer mahfil was organized by the Ghatnagar Union BNP unit and associate organizations of the upazila on Saturday afternoon at Somnagar Dodal intersection. Ghatnagar Union BNP President Modachher Hossain presided over the event. Niamatpur Upazila BNP General Secretary and MP candidate Mostafizur Rahman was present as the chief guest.

Upazila BNP Election Steering Committee Convener Taufiqur Rahman Chowdhury and Member Secretary Sadequl Islam were present as special guests. Former Upazila BNP convener Shafiuddin Mondal, BNP vice-president Shakhil Javed, organizing secretary Abul Hossain Babu, Ghatnagar Union BNP general secretary Mizanur Rahman, BNP leaders Golam Rahman, Abdul Gani, Nitpur Union BNP president Belal Hossain, Jubo Dal convener Iqbal Hossain and leaders of union BNP organs and allied organizations were present at the time.
