


The Faridpur District School Alumni Association has formed its Central Executive Council and Advisory Committee at an inaugural ceremony held Thursday night at Hotel Sheraton in Banani, Dhaka.
The Central Executive Council comprises 31 members while the Advisory Council has 17. The announcement was made in a press release Saturday by the council's Publicity and Public Relations Secretary, Rajibul Hasan Khan.
Mirza Md. Arifur Rahman has been named President for the 2026–2028 term with Md. Wahid Mia as Secretary General.
The council includes three vice-presidents Md. Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, Nabiqul Islam Khandaker and AFM Anwar Hossain Khan along with two joint secretary generals, a treasurer and secretaries covering areas including organization, publication, employment, international affairs, education, culture, IT, legal affairs, health and sports. Nine executive members were also named.
The 17-member advisory council includes Mir Nasir Hossain, Md. Shahidul Hasan, Kazi Din Mohammad, Kazi Nurul Karim Dilu and other senior alumni figures.
