


The government has sent 49 officers holding the rank of Police Inspector into retirement from public service.
The decision was announced in a notification issued by the Police-1 branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday (August 13).
The notification was signed by Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Manzur Murshed Chowdhury, by order of the President.
According to the notification, the 49 officers serving in the Bangladesh Police have completed 25 years of service.
They were retired from government service in the public interest in accordance with the provisions of Section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018.
