2 Deaths, 693 New Dengue Cases Reported in 24 Hours

Two more dengue-related deaths have been reported across the country over the last 24 hours (from Wednesday 8:00 AM to Thursday 8:00 AM), while 693 new patients were hospitalized with the fever during the same period.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) provided the update in a press release issued on Thursday (August 13).

So far this month, 11 people have lost their lives to dengue, with 6,933 patients admitted to hospitals nationwide.

According to official data, the total dengue death toll for this year has risen to 65, while total hospital admissions have reached 22,243.
