


State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obayed Islam has indicated a positive outlook regarding Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s potential visit to Delhi, stating that a visit to India may take place alongside his domestic schedule. However, the schedule for the trip has not yet been finalized.
She made these remarks on Thursday while responding to questions from reporters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The State Minister noted that India should make good use of this opportunity, adding that bilateral discussions could help resolve many existing issues between the two neighboring nations. She also clarified that visit schedules for India, Japan, or any other countries have not been finalized yet and will be concluded through discussions with the respective countries.
Regarding manpower exports to Singapore, Shama Obayed mentioned that successful government-level meetings have taken place, along with effective discussions aimed at boosting manpower export to the country.
