Doctor gives latest update on Osman Hadi's condition

An air ambulance carrying potential independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency Sharif Osman Hadi has left for Singapore. The air ambulance took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 1:55 pm on Monday. Earlier, doctors described his condition as 'very favorable condition'.

Inquilab Manch spokesperson Osman Hadi and his two brothers also went to Singapore. The air ambulance arrived in Dhaka from Singapore at around 11:22 am. Doctors said that he was being taken from the ICU of Evercare Hospital in 'favorable' condition before being taken away.

A video of Osman Hadi before being taken out of the ICU has been released. In the video, doctors can be heard saying, 'Moving from ICU with a very favorable condition'. They also showed the ICU's equipment monitor and described his physical condition, including his heartbeat and blood pressure. However, the video could not be immediately verified.

Earlier, on Friday, after Friday prayers, one of two assailants riding a motorcycle shot Osman Hadi, who was in a moving rickshaw, in the head on Box-Culvert Road in Purana Paltan in the capital.

He was first taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a seriously injured condition. From there, he was transferred to Evercare Hospital. Since then, he has been undergoing treatment in the ICU of that hospital. His condition is currently 'critical'.
