Education Ministry Warns Against Fraud Rings Using Officials' Photos

The Ministry of Education has issued an urgent warning regarding a fraud ring using the names and photos of senior officials to extort money. These scammers are reportedly targeting the general public through fake mobile numbers and social media profiles.

In a notification released Saturday night, the Ministry’s Public Relations Department clarified that these activities are entirely fraudulent. The statement noted that unscrupulous individuals are impersonating officials to demand payments, emphasizing that the Ministry has no connection to these requests.

Citizens are strongly advised not to provide money or personal information if contacted by such suspicious callers or message senders. The Ministry is currently monitoring the situation and taking legal action against those responsible.

Authorities reminded the public to rely only on official communication channels for government business and to disregard any unofficial or personal contact regarding financial transactions.
