Bangladesh has strongly condemned and protested against a recent drone attack targeting the holy city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah in Saudi Arabia.
The condemnation was conveyed in a statement issued by Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, September 16.
In the statement, Bangladesh reaffirmed its deep respect for the sanctity of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and other holy sites in Saudi Arabia. It also expressed full solidarity with the Saudi government and people in protecting and safeguarding these sacred places.
The ministry stressed that the security and protection of the holy sites must be fully maintained and ensured under all circumstances.
Bangladesh reiterated its commitment to respecting the sanctity of the holy sites and supporting efforts to ensure their safety.
