Bangladesh Army Recruitment Open for SSC Graduates

The Bangladesh Army has announced recruitment for the position of Soldier (Technical Branch, Trade-1). Eligible male candidates can apply online or through SMS within the application period.

• Height: 5 feet 5 inches; 5 feet 4 inches for candidates from specified ethnic communities

Applications opened on August 15, 2026, and will remain open until September 30, 2026.

Candidates can apply through SMS using a Teletalk prepaid SIM or online through the Bangladesh Army recruitment portal. Applicants must upload a 300×300 pixel photograph and a 300×80 pixel signature.

Selection Process

Candidates will go through several stages:

1. Medical examination
2. Physical fitness test
3. Written examination covering Bangla, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Intelligence
4. Interview
