Chandkhali Puja Celebration Council Holds Meeting in Paikgachha

The Chandkhali Union unit of the Puja Celebration Council held a discussion meeting in Paikgachha on Saturday to prepare for the celebration of Janmashtami and strengthen the organization.

The meeting was held at the Jagannath Temple premises in Debduar Krishnanagar in the afternoon. Subrata Kumar Das, president of the temple committee and a teacher, chaired the event.

Krishnapada Mondal, convener of the Paikgachha Upazila Puja Celebration Council, attended as the chief guest. Himadri Shekhar Dey, member secretary of the upazila council, was present as a special guest.

Among those who spoke at the meeting were journalist Krishna Ray, Prashanta Kumar Shil, Pradip Mondal, Bhudeb Mondal, Nabodip Kumar Sarkar, Manojit Mondal, Kurna Sardar, Arun Kumar Das, Paritosh Das, secretary Indrajit Ray, Laxmikanta Mondal, Kanti Biswas and Rashik Ramanul Das.

Speakers discussed plans to celebrate Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, in a dignified and festive atmosphere.

They also emphasized the activities of the Hindu Religious Welfare Trust and expressed their commitment to working together to strengthen and organize the community association.
