Apollo Pet Clinic Opens in Gazipur to Expand Veterinary Care

A new private veterinary facility, Apollo Pet Clinic, has officially opened in Gazipur, aiming to provide accessible and modern healthcare services for domestic and companion animals.

Located at Abed Plaza in Hakkani Society in the district town, the clinic was inaugurated Saturday morning by Gazipur City Corporation Administrator Md. Shawkat Hossain Sarker.

At a gathering following the inauguration, speakers said pets have increasingly become part of families in urban areas, creating greater demand for reliable veterinary care. They said access to timely treatment and professional advice can still be difficult for pet owners, particularly during emergencies.

They expressed hope that the new clinic would reduce the difficulties faced by animal owners in Gazipur and contribute to improving veterinary healthcare in the area.

The event was chaired by Md. Ruhul Amin Sarker, chairman of Apollo Pet Clinic and Mirar Agro Limited.

Special guests included Prof. Dr. Md. Ataur Rahman, head of the Department of Surgery and Radiology at Bangladesh Agricultural University; NTV Senior Staff Reporter Nasir Ahmed; Gazipur BM College Principal Md. Humayun Kabir; former Project Director of Gazipur City Corporation Mohammad Mujibur Rahman; and Mirar Agro Limited General Manager Kazi Md. Mahfuzul Haque Hiron.

According to the clinic authorities, Apollo Pet Clinic is equipped with modern facilities and staffed by trained veterinarians. Services will include routine health checkups, vaccinations, surgery and other veterinary treatments for pets and domestic animals.
