PSTU Holds 58th Board of Regents Meeting in Dhaka

Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) held its 58th Board of Regents meeting on Saturday, chaired by Vice-Chancellor and Board Chairman Prof. Dr. S. M. Hemayet Jahan.

The meeting began at 10:00 a.m. on July 11 at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) conference hall in Farmgate, Dhaka. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Hemayet Jahan welcomed board members and thanked them for attending.

Attendees included Members of Parliament ABM Mosharraf Hossain and Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayon, PSTU Treasurer Prof. Abdul Latif, senior officials from the Ministry of Education, and representatives from leading agricultural research institutions, universities and colleges across Bangladesh.

The Board reviewed a range of administrative, academic and development matters affecting the university. After detailed discussions, members approved several key decisions aimed at strengthening PSTU's academic programs, administrative operations and future development initiatives.
