Shantiganj Hosts Youth Workshop on Peace and Social Awareness

A public awareness workshop titled "The Role of Youth in Promoting Peace, Order, and Social Awareness" was held in Shantiganj on Tuesday afternoon. Organized by the Upazila Youth Development Department, the event followed the theme: "Technology-Based Youth Power, Progress in Multilateral Partnership."

The session took place at 2:00 PM in the Shantiganj Upazila Parishad conference room. SKM Ziaul Bari, Deputy Director of the Sunamganj Youth Development Department, chaired the workshop, while Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Mohammad Shahjahan attended as the chief guest.

In his welcome address, Upazila Youth Development Officer Sandip Biswas emphasized the importance of youth engagement in community building. Speakers highlighted how young people can utilize technology and collaborative partnerships to maintain social stability and drive local progress.

Representatives from various youth organizations, including Zakaria Ahmed (Padma Youth Organization), Rubel Ahmed (Surma Youth Development), Tanvir Ahmed Sumon (Bandhu Samaj Kalyan), and Ruhel Ahmed (Sultanpur West Para), also participated in the discussion.
