7 More Flights Canceled at Chattogram Airport Amid Mideast Unrest

The ongoing unrest in the Middle East has disrupted operations at Chattogram’s Shah Amanat International Airport. Seven more international flights have been canceled, bringing the total cancellations to 35.

Airport Public Relations Officer Engineer Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil confirmed the suspension of several flights to and from the Middle East. The affected flights include. One arrival of Biman Bangladesh Airlines ,One departure and one arrival of US-Bangla Airlines, Two departures and two arrivals of Air Arabia

However, not all flights have been affected. Salam Air’s OV-401 flight from Muscat landed at 8:05 am on Tuesday and later departed for Muscat as OV-402 at 9:15 am. Similarly, Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ BG-138 from Madinah arrived at 8:45 am and left for Dhaka at 9:30 am.

Officials noted that the ongoing cancellations are causing passengers to adjust their travel plans.
