Financial Literacy Program Held in Niamatpur

A financial literacy program was organized in Niamatpur upazila under the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (2021–2026), with the aim of ensuring inclusive financial services for all. The event was held on Sunday (October 19) at the Upazila Parishad hall, with support from Rupali Bank PLC, Niamatpur branch.

Mohammad Nizam Uddin, General Manager and Divisional Head of Rupali Bank PLC, Rajshahi Divisional Office, attended the program as the chief guest. The event was presided over by Al Mamun Sheikh, Manager of Rupali Bank’s Niamatpur branch.

Among others, Deputy General Manager and Zonal Manager of Rupali Bank’s Naogaon Zonal Office Debabrata Saha, Assistant General Manager Arif Hossain, and Niamatpur Press Club President Shahjahan Shaju were present.

In his keynote address, Chief Guest Mohammad Nizam Uddin discussed the importance of financial literacy in achieving national financial inclusion goals. Other speakers emphasized improving the quality of banking services and increasing public awareness about responsible financial practices.
