Free Book and Winter Clothes Distribution-2026 held for disabled students in Jhalakathi

The event was organized at 9:30 am on Wednesday (January 4, 2026) at the city's Disabled and Autism School. This assistance was provided to the students of the Disabled and Autism School, Jhalakathi, run by the Disabled Development Organization.

The event was presided over by the Upazila Executive Officer of Jhalakathi Sadar Upazila, Segufta Mehnaz. The event was welcomed by Faisal Rahman Jasim, Executive Director of the Disabled Development Organization, and conducted by development worker Ajmir Hossain.

The speakers at the event said that social and administrative cooperation is very important for the development of education of disabled children. Initiatives like distributing books and winter clothes will encourage them to pursue education and play a role in building a humane society.

At the end of the program, free books and winter clothes were distributed among the school students.
