A festive mood swept through Faridpur District Jail on Friday as prison officials and staff took part in a day-long internal sports competition featuring traditional Bangladeshi games.
The event took place inside the jail premises and aimed to boost morale, strengthen camaraderie and offer physical and mental refreshment for staff working demanding schedules.
A key highlight was a lively match of Ha-Du-Du (Kabaddi) the national sport of Bangladesh contested between the Red Team and the Green Team. The high-energy game drew loud cheers from spectators across the grounds.
Another crowd favorite was Hari Bhanga (blindfolded pot-breaking). Blindfolded participants attempted to locate and smash a hanging clay pot with a stick, bringing laughter and joy to all attendees through their humorous attempts.
