A project briefing meeting on CSE and Network was held at the upazila level in Paikgacha, Khulna, on Sunday morning.
The meeting took place in the auditorium of the Paikgacha Technical Training Centre.
Network President Advocate F M A Razzaq chaired the meeting, moderated by Prabha Bikash. Paikgacha Upazila Nirbahi Officer Waziuzzaman Chowdhury attended as the chief guest.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Ekramul Haque, Paikgacha Technical Training Centre Principal Habibur Rahman and Upazila Fisheries Officer Saikat Mallik attended as special guests.
Shahriar Mannan, an official of the Helvetas Bangladesh Enable Project, delivered the welcome address.
Among those who spoke at the meeting were Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Moniruzzaman, Upazila Cooperative Officer Humayun Kabir, Rural Development Officer Wahid Murad, former principal Ramendra Nath Mondal, Professor G M Azharul Islam, Chairman Abdus Salam Keru, Sheikh Khorsheduzzaman, former Paikgacha Press Club Secretary S M Alauddin Sohag, Alauddin Raja and Mukta Biswas, along with representatives from various professions and sections of society.
The meeting briefed participants on the objectives and activities of the project, as well as the process for implementing it at the upazila level.
