Young Mason's Body Recovered in Ramgarh

Police recovered the body of Helal Hossain Sagar, 20 at his home in Shalbagan, Dakshin Sadukbari Para, Ramgarh Municipality on Monday morning. Sagar a mason by profession was the son of Amir Hossain.

According to family sources a family dispute had arisen days earlier over a missing earthen money bank belonging to a relative in which Sagar was implicated. Though he reportedly apologized and offered compensation, the matter remained unresolved and family members say he had been distressed over the accusation and the threat of police involvement in the days before his death.

His father Amir Hossain said his wife discovered the locked door of Sagar's room on Monday morning and unable to get a response, broke it open to find him unresponsive inside. Neighbors assisted in bringing the body out.

Ramgarh Police Station Officer-in-Charge Nazir Alam visited the scene and said the case is being treated as a suspected suicide though a full investigation is underway. He said the body has been sent for the required legal process, and further action will follow if the family files a written complaint.
