The Australian cricket team arrived in Chattogram on Monday (June 15) to play a three-match T20 International series against Bangladesh.
The contingent, including players, coaching staff, and officials, landed at Shah Amanat International Airport around 3:00 PM. Amidst tight security, the team was escorted to the Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View. Enhanced security measures have been deployed across the airport and hotel premises to ensure the visitors' safety.
Following a historic 2-1 defeat to hosts Bangladesh in the recently concluded ODI series in Dhaka, the visitors are looking to bounce back in the game's shortest format. The first T20 match is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, at the Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium.
