BNP Observes July Uprising Day with Victory Rally in Lohagara

Lohagara Upazila and Municipal chapters of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) alongside affiliated organizations observed 'July Uprising Day' with a victory rally and public gathering on Wednesday August 5.

The celebratory rally commenced at the C&B intersection in Lohagara town. Participants marched through the major thoroughfares before concluding the procession with an assembly at the main gate of the Lohagara Upazila complex.

Senior BNP leader and Supreme Court lawyer Dr. Fariduzzaman Farhad addressed the gathering as the chief guest. In his speech he highlighted the significance of the July uprising and the party's ongoing democratic commitments. Other key speakers included Shahriar Rizvi George former Organizing Secretary of Narail District BNP and local Chhatra Dal leader Sajjad Sikder.

The event drew a strong presence of local political figures. Notable attendees included former Lohagara Upazila BNP President and ex-Mayor Newaz Ahmed Thakur Nazrul, District BNP Organizing Secretary Md. Tipu Sultan and former Upazila BNP General Secretary Md. Asaduzzaman. Acting Municipal BNP President Mollah Nazrul Islam, Acting General Secretary Shamsul Haque Azad and Vice President SM Shahin Biplob were also present to mark the occasion.
