The Uttar Dharla Unnayan Foundation hosted a reception in Nageshwari, Kurigram to honor 243 students who excelled in the 2025 Primary and Ebtedayi scholarship examinations.
The ceremony was held at the Nageshwari Upazila Parishad Auditorium on Thursday afternoon with celebrating the academic achievements of young learners across the upazila. Specially 11 students from Al Kawsar Merit Madrasa received special accolades for securing scholarships in both the talent and general pools.
Kurigram-1 Member of Parliament and Foundation Chairman Md. Anwarul Islam attended the event with personally handing over the awards to the brilliant students to encourage their future academic pursuits.
Chaired by Foundation Advisor Abdul Mannan brought together a wide array of local administrators, educators and political figures. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) HM Khodadad Hossain and Foundation Chief Advisor Azizur Rahman Sarkar addressed the gathering.
Other notable attendees who spoke to inspire the students included Upazila Secondary Education Officer Kamrul Islam, Primary Education Officer Lutfar Rahman, District Jamaat Secretary Maulana Abdul Hamid, Upazila BNP Convener Golam Rasul Raja and Upazila Jamaat Ameer Abdul Mannan.
The collaborative presence of local leaders underscored a unified community effort to promote rural education and support meritorious students.
