Pohela Boishakh Celebrated with Color and Music in Ramgarh, Khagrachari

The Ramgarh Upazila Administration celebrated Pohela Boishakh 1433 with traditional festivities and cultural programs on Tuesday, April 14.

The celebrations began at the Ramgarh Officers Club, where Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Kazi Shamim exchanged New Year greetings with government officials, local representatives, political leaders, and journalists.

Following the greeting exchange, a vibrant colorful procession (Mangal Shobhajatra) was brought out from the Upazila Council premises. The parade traveled through the main roads of the municipality before concluding at the 'Shishukanne' area.

The day’s highlights included a cultural show at Shishukanne, featuring traditional music and dance performances by artists from the Upazila Shilpakala Academy and Rangtuli Academy.

Local political leaders, including Ramgarh Upazila BNP President Md. Jasim Uddin and City BNP President Md. Bahar Uddin, attended the event. They were joined by a large number of teachers, businessmen, and residents from various communities, making the celebration a truly inclusive gathering.
