Shantiganj Press Club holds Iftar and Prayer Gathering

The programme was held at the dining hall of Zehin Ahmed Academy.

Members of the Shantiganj Press Club in Shantiganj of Sunamganj District organised an Iftar and prayer gathering on Sunday evening.

The programme was held at the dining hall of Zehin Ahmed Academy run by Friends In Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB).

The event was presided over by Press Club President Kazi Md. Jamirul Islam Momtaz. General Secretary Sohel Talukder and Organising Secretary Hossain Ahmed also spoke on the occasion.

In their remarks, the speakers discussed various issues related to the activities and future development of the press club.

Among others present were Treasurer Yakub Shahriar, Office Secretary MM Ilias Ali, Sports and Cultural Affairs Secretary Jamiul Islam Turan, and members Nohan Arefin Newaz, Alal Hossain, Kuhinur Rahman Nahid, Naeem Talukder, Abdur Rahman Jami, Sulaiman Ahmed Kamran and Tofail Ahmed.

The gathering ended with a prayer seeking peace, prosperity and unity.
