


The Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation has distributed Tk 12.74 lakh in medical assistance to 150 underprivileged patients in Faridpur.
The check handover ceremony took place Sunday at 11:00 AM at the Ha-Meem Group auditorium in the city’s Jhiltuli area. The recipients include individuals suffering from incurable diseases and their families from Faridpur Sadar Upazila.
According to K.M. Anisur Rahman, Manager of the Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Faridpur Branch, this initiative is part of the bank's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
"In the current financial year, we have committed a total of Tk 50 lakh to support the treatment of 600 needy patients. Today marks the successful completion of the second phase of this distribution," Rahman stated.
Ha-Meem Group Chairman M.A. Motaleb Hossain, who attended as a guest, praised the bank's consistent support for the distressed. He reaffirmed a commitment to collaborative humanitarian efforts, particularly for those battling complex health conditions.
