A venomous Padma Gokhro snake about five feet long was found with 25 eggs in a house in Boalkhali upazila's Popadia Union, Chattogram on Friday night.
According to Amir Hossain Shaon, a member of the Wildlife and Snake Rescue Team the snake was discovered around 11 pm when a family in Thakur Bari area attempted to collect sand and broken bricks piled on the balcony of Biplob's house.
Upon receiving the information, the rescue team safely removed the snake along with 25 intact eggs and one empty shell.
The eggs were left in a natural setting to hatch while the snake was released back into the forest.
