Admission test schedules for the 2026-27 academic year have been announced by seven public universities in Bangladesh, giving prospective students a clear timeline for their university entrance preparations.
The universities are University of Dhaka (DU), University of Rajshahi (RU), Jagannath University (JnU), University of Chittagong (CU), Khulna University (KU), Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), and Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST).
University of Dhaka
The University of Dhaka admission tests will begin on December 5, 2026, with the IBA admission test.

Online applications will be accepted from November 11 to 25, 2026.
University of Rajshahi
The Rajshahi University admission tests will begin on January 8, 2027.
The preliminary application period will run from November 12 to 27, 2026.
Jagannath University
The Jagannath University admission test will start on January 1, 2027.
Applications will open at 12:00 noon on November 15 and remain open until 11:59 pm on December 10, 2026.
University of Chittagong
The University of Chittagong admission tests will begin on January 29, 2027.
The B1, B2 and D1 sub-unit examinations will be held at the Chittagong University campus. Other unit examinations will be held at Chittagong University as well as the Rajshahi and Dhaka university campuses, according to the announced plan.
Online applications will be accepted from November 15 to December 10, 2026.
Khulna University
Khulna University admission tests are scheduled for December 17 and 18, 2026.

However, the university has indicated that schedules not yet confirmed through the final admission circular may be subject to change.
KUET Admission Test
The Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) will hold its 2026-27 first-year undergraduate admission test on January 8, 2027.
For the first time under the announced arrangement, the examination will be conducted simultaneously in Khulna, Dhaka and Rajshahi.
MIST Admission Test
The Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) will conduct its admission tests on December 18 and 19, 2026.
