


The Nibras Islamic Research Foundation and Ad-Dawah Ilallah have distributed cattle to 30 families affected by flooding, landslides and livestock losses in Banshkhali, Chattogram. The organizations also provided financial assistance to a family that lost a member in the floods.
The aid was distributed jointly by the two organizations at the Banshkhali Upazila Parishad field on Saturday afternoon, Aug. 22.
Seven families received cows, while 23 families received goats to help them recover their livelihoods after losing livestock in the disaster.
Banshkhali Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Ruhul Amin, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Jewel Majumder, Ad-Dawah Ilallah Director Abdullah Bin Abdur Razzaq, Assistant Director Abdur Rahim Bin Abdur Razzaq, Upazila Livestock Extension Officer Dr. Zulkarnain Shawon and Nibras Islamic Research Foundation Director Shams Mustani were present at the distribution event, among others.
The initiative was aimed at helping families rebuild their livelihoods after the recent flooding and landslides.
