The Ghana Football Association has reappointed Carlos Queiroz as the Black Stars' head coach just weeks after his post-World Cup departure.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reappointed 73-year-old Carlos Queiroz as the head coach of the national football team, less than two months after he initially stepped down. Queiroz had previously left the role in July following the Black Stars' 1-0 defeat to Colombia in the round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup.

The GFA and the Ministry of Sports cited Queiroz's technical expertise and vast tactical knowledge as crucial for guiding the team's next chapter. His new mandate begins immediately with this month's international window.
