Multinational pop sensation Katseye received a hero's welcome during their first full UK concert at London's O2 Arena. Despite missing two key members, the group delivered a high-energy, electrifying show that captivated a predominantly young and deafeningly loud audience.

Formed in 2023 by South Korean entertainment giant Hybe and US label Geffen the Katseye recently became YouTube UK’s most-streamed act. Following a massive breakout year in 2025, the group embarked on their "Wildworld" tour. However the rigorous demands of global stardom have taken a toll.

Singers Manon Bannerman and Sophia Laforteza are currently on health-related hiatuses also citing the need to prioritize their mental and physical well-being. Such breaks are increasingly common in the demanding K-pop industry. Manon stepped back earlier this year to recover from exhaustion and alleged online harassment, while Sophia recently paused her activities with her family assuring fans she is simply resting to return stronger.

Undeterred by these absences, bandmates Yoonchae, Megan, Lara and Daniela worked tirelessly to fill the stage. The concert featured bass-heavy anthems, spectacular dance breaks and capable live vocals that successfully shut down recent lip-syncing rumors. Standout moments included Daniela’s flawless aerial splits during "Gabriela" and Lara’s emotional solo performance of "unloveu."

Ending with the defiant track "Iconic By Mistake" a direct response to online hate and a rock-remixed version of "Gnarly" Katseye proved their resilience.

The performance was a stunningly self-assured display from a group that could have easily been hindered by personnel challenges. As Yoonchae promised the roaring crowd, "This is not a goodbye. We'll come back" cementing Katseye's status as a formidable force in global pop.
