Israel has attacked two of Iran’s major nuclear facilities and two steel plants, prompting Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to warn of “heavy retaliation.”
The targeted sites include the Khondab Heavy Water Facility, the Ardakan Yellowcake Production Plant, and steel plants in Khuzestan and Mobarakeh. Araghchi accused Israel of acting in coordination with the U.S., saying the attacks contradict U.S. President Donald Trump’s extended 10-day deadline for diplomacy.
The strikes caused one death and two injuries at a cement factory in Firouzabad, while no radiation leaks were reported from the nuclear sites. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned of regional retaliation, urging civilians near U.S.-linked and Israeli sites to stay away.
Hezbollah announced missile strikes on northern Israel, targeting Kiryat Shmona and a military gathering at Malkiya. The situation remains tense, with potential further attacks on nuclear and military infrastructure in the region.
